appveen data.stack BETA is now available for the general public to use.

You can head over to our cloud environment at https://cloud.appveen.com, signup, and start using it.

That’s it and that’s the big news.

But more than sharing the news and the platform with everyone, we are now walking with a sense of pride and accomplishment and with an air of excitement for the things that we have planned.

You never sail on calm waters towards a public release. Our boat was rocked multiple times. We were thrown overboard. We went back to the drawing board to break and rebuild things. And the journey took 2 years.

appveen data.stack is powered by the same technology and the same team behind Omni-Data Platform. To explain the evolution in terms of maximum nerdiness, Omni-Data Platform (ODP) evolved from Mark-I to Mark-IV. But with data.stack we went straight to Mark-XLV.

“But ODP is currently only at version 3.9. How can you go to Mark-IV?”

“Well, my friend, before ODP ever reached ODP 1.0, we had a precursor, simply christened as MDM.”

Looking back MDM, it was in fact Mark-I. Crude. Raw. Effective. Full of potential. data.stack, is no less. It comes with improved performance, stability, and usability. With all the improvements that have gone into the platform, you can use it more productively and more securely.

So what is data.stack?

It’s our API-first, low-code platform build for managing, securing, and distributing data. Our clients have been using the platform on-premise to deliver digital initiatives faster. They have used our platform to deliver,

  • Real-time integration with partners and suppliers
  • Corporate to bank integration
  • APIfication of core legacy data
  • A light-weight workflow automation platform
  • Limit management system

All deployments are managed in a microservices environment and can easily scale up or down based on the evolving needs of the business. And under the hoods data.stack uses Kubernetes to simplify the entire process.

Looking forward

You can expect more frequent updates to the cloud environment in the coming weeks.

It’s a bit embarrassing to say that we couldn’t release some of the core features to the cloud on day 1. It’s even hilarious when we have to say that this is because we were paranoid about security. We had to keep them enterprise only for the time being. Not because we can’t deliver them on the cloud, but because we don’t want to do a rush job.

We would also be coming out with more technical insights, walkthroughs, and demos in the coming weeks.

As you can sense, we are really excited to share this with you. Head over to https://cloud.appveen.com and get started.

We are here!
